The woman behind “MOM Vehicle Sales” Sylvie Gagnon and her husband moved six years ago to what they consider the nicest area in Canada. Prior to coming here, she worked for two years in St John's Nfld in Economic Development helping Entrepreneurs start up their business. Sylvie has 30 years experience in Administration, Management and she was co-owner of two Helicopter Businesses (Charter and Training Companies) while living in Quebec. One day Sylvie went to a Used Cars Dealership and the treatment she received made her feel very uncomfortable, disrespected and left the place frustrated. On the way home, a thought germinated in her head: “I'm looking for a new venture, why not a Pre-owned Car Dealership?” The more Sylvie thought about it, the more she knew what she would offer her customers: Respect, Honesty and Service in an Ethical manner. Most of all “ I want my customers to feel comfortable, confident and secure, especially women.” It came like a flash to Sylvie: “MOM is all that to me so I'm calling my business MOM”. This new venture started in December 2006 when she obtained her Motor Dealer License. Sylvie's Mission Statement is to offer Trust, Credibility, Confidence and Satisfaction. To achieve her goals, it's very important to Sylvie that every vehicle be in good condition.
